Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely credited with initiating the contemporary scientific study of children's eyewitness memory and child victimes as witness in lawful contexts. Professor Goodman who is a prolific author with many papers and grants she is also the winner of a variety of international and national distinctions. She has consulted with various governments and agencies across the world regarding policies and research on children's victimization within the court system. She is also a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor Goodman also belongs to the Psychonomics Society, the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman has served as president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division as well as three divisions of Children and Families Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
