Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for the role of Bo. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to pursue her acting profession in November 1999. Later, she spent the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor'sworkshop held in Los Angeles. They were engaged the year 2009 and wed with a civil ceremony December of the same year. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows in the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk had a child that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 for this role. In 2009, she got the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to return to the set of the show. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) one of their favorite television couples. Entertainment Television.
